Teen/High School Years
It's that time of the week for yet another list of thing you should know about me. This week we will be doing those wonderful Teen/High School years. I of course have no idea what I am going to write but going to give it a whirl anyway!
So without further waiting:
I was one of the youngest people in my class. I was lucky and had a June birthday so I graduated when I was 17. I am no braniac trust me!
I was so scared to be in gym class. We had swimming once a week and I had to get into a bathing suit in front of all of those mean boys. Not to mention I had no clue how to swim! Yes, I didn't know how to swim until I was 13-14! I just threw myself in and hoped for the best.
I went out for softball and didn't make the team.
I used to take the city bus to mall and go shopping. I remember feeling so independent by being able to use the bus by myself. Meanwhile, everybody else was getting dropped off and picked up by their parents.
I had my first boyfriend at the age of 14. He was the starting goalie of the hockey team. We were both freshman.
I had my first period when I was 13 and it freaked me out. I left school and went staright home and cried in my mothers arms. I was excited because I was now a "woman". My mom was great and taught me everything I needed to know. Then we went out and had some ice cream.
I confronted a bully. This guy was a reall asshole. He would always pick on people for no reason. So, one day I saw him picking on this boy and I came up and stood inbetween them and started laying into him about how he had a small dick and he was in shame because his dad made out with him. I was called names by him and his "crew" but felt good about giving as much as he gave.
I was making more friends and enjoying life.
I wasn't all that great in school. Actually I was but I never looked at it that way. I was usually on the A or B honor rolls.
I got a diamond necklace from my dad after my freshman year.
I tried pot for the first time. My friends had told me that they tried it and they liked it. I hated them for it! I had such a stigma in my head of who smoked up. A few short weeks after some thought and peer pressure I eventually tried some. I don't remember blinking the whole way home.
I tried alcohol for the first time on a grand scale. Everbody is given sips of wine, beer or cosmo's but when you get to high school it's a whole new game. I was your typical lightweight. I could have 2-3 beers and be wasted off my ass. I did like beer back then and still do today but opted to go with the hard stuff. Because as a high school girl I would have to buy my stuff. I opted to pay $12 for a bottle of vodka and that would last me a months worth of parties . Vodka and squirt or mountain dew.
My friend talked me into being a football manager with her.
My parents starting letting me do more things ALONE. I of course in turn used that trust to do everything they didn't want me to do. I had learned a lot from my brothers and knew how to get by things and I think being the only girl helped too.
I once woke up in the back of truck after a party.
 I never really like make-up.
I broke up with my first boyfreind and had sworn off boys for life. It actually lasted just over a year.
I was so happy when I started to get boobs. It was insane to see how the boys seemed to pay more attention to me.
I loved the camping trips that we would go on as a family. Eventually my dad had bought a cabin on a lake. I learned how to canoe and fish all by myself. One day, I out fished my brothers and dad.
I touched myself for the first time in the shower at home. I remember hearing in my health class that masturbation was "natural". For weeks after that me and my girlfriends would snicker about playing with ourselves. I recently found out that a handful of them had been playing even before that class. Guess I was a late bloomer.
I wanted to be way better than I was in art class. I envied the people that could draw and paint.
I was selected to be in the first class in my high school to do a class via video conference with other local schools.
 I hated applying for college.
I had a boy that was a really good friend one night we went out and drank a few beers and talked all night. I learned a lot about boys that night.
I had my first bi-sexual encounter when I was 15.

Glad to hear you never did drugs. I have experimented with pot but never really got into like some of my friends did. I more of a beer girl anyway...a little bit more expensive than pot but tastes a helluva lot better.
I haven't smoked pot in probably 6-7 years. No need for an intervention.
