my luck

Well I went to the doctor today. Was totally not worth taking the day off of work. I showed up about 15 minutes early and soon after I arrived the power went out. I sat patiently as snotty nosed kids ran around unattended. I sat for 45 minutes with nobody once calling my name or trying to see if I wanted to reschedule. I wound up leaving and will call them later and see if we can reschedule. I haven't had headaches in a few days. I think it had something to do with my eating habits.

Last night was ok. I sat out on my porch chatting with my neighbors and handed out candy. Was fun watching the kids run around and be so excited about getting free candy. Oh to be young again. Was also kind of fun to watch the dads stand on the side walk and undress me with their eyes. Then of course the stares from catty moms. Oh well, I had fun and ran out of candy in about an hour. $30 worth of candy gone like that.
