dude, you aint getting shit
Well, I was at the Dell site today and "built" my own notebook. It started off at $688 and soon escalated to over $1,500. I have no idea what the fuck I need or want. Like I said, I want a basic laptop that I can use to surf the net and be wireless. Guessing I would like some form of word program to write.
I saw some good ones on ebay...well at least they seemed good. I don't even need to be able to burn CD's..however that would be nice. But not important. So can any one tell me what I should be looking for? What is a decent "hard drive", how much memory should I have? I don't know shit about computers! I want to get back online and be the naughty feline that I have been aching to be since I have lost my internet.
I think I read something about a wireless card that comes with the laptop and have no idea how that works. Do I just plug in close to a "hot spot" and am then connected to the internet? I need help! Any of you out there in blogland know what I am talking about? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. After all, your the ones losing out. LOL!
Now where is that fucking calgon man?

go to dell.com and check out the inspiron 2200. youi can get a free wireles card with it for less than $500. you may want to upgrade to an 80gb hard drive and possibly 512mb ram. this will be more than enough for what you want.
Get your sexy self a computer and get back here soon so we can talk about more fun things than ram and gigs. I think Rob is right, you usually don't have to add too much to what they start you off with.
